Jim Birch

Drupal Engineering Manager

Jim is one of the leaders of our Drupal development team. He specializes in Drupal development, Front End development, Content Strategy, and SEO. He’s also an expert at planning, architecting, and developing digital projects.

Beyond his many certifications and accolades, Jim has devoted a great deal of his life to the Drupal community. For starters, he’s been a Drupal Open Source project contributor (Drupal Core Subsystem Maintainer: Recipes & Default Content and Drupal Recipes Initiative Coordinator).

He’s a regular technology speaker who has written and presented sessions at DrupalCon North America, Drupal Camp Northern Lights, and too many other camps and meetups to mention here. He’s also organized and helped run many of them.

He also writes about web development at http://jimbir.ch, and has been featured in the Drupal Watchdog magazine, Drupal Planet, and The Weekly Drop/Drupal Association Newsletter.

Outside of work, Jim is also a passionate advocate for animal nonprofits. He also loves to make pizza and pasta by hand, play organ and theremin, and take long walks on Cape Cod.

And whenever he has time left over after all that, he likes to spend it reminding the rest of us to complete our timesheets.
