Maria assists with our financial and business reporting, payroll, database administration, and anything else our financial team needs. She loves working with people and helping things run smoothly. Which is fortunate, since this is precisely what she does here.

Favorite pastimes

Camping, hiking, lifting weights, knitting, and calligraphy.

Favorite places

Aberdeen, Scotland, Maui, HI, and her back porch on a warm summer evening. We’re told her bug zapper puts on quite a show.

Did you know?

Maria worked on a farm that imported European Dressage horses for nearly 10 years. She describes her experience working with these massive animals as both empowering and terrifying. Incidentally, there are chihuahua owners at Kanopi who feel the same way.
