As a UX Strategist, Derek is responsible for using qualitative and quantitative research to craft delightful and functional user experiences for clients, as well as defining the overall UX vision throughout an entire project’s lifecycle.
In his role, Derek helps clients combine business and usability viewpoints using a data-informed mindset. He finds the most joy in taking something that was a frustration or painpoint and transforming it into something stress free and delightful to use. As he likes to say, “I build things that work for real people.”
Outside of work, Derek is passionate about photography, soccer, and having as many adventures as possible with his dog Cosmo.
