Kelly Dassing

Client Lead

Kelly started her digital agency career in 2011 as an Agency Financial Analyst and Production Manager, diving headfirst into project and account management, QA testing, and SEO. Her next career jump took her exclusively into the world of Drupal as a Senior Director of Project Management, before becoming a Kanopi Client Lead. She brings a client-centric approach to her work, building strong long-term relationships with clients and project teams. Support projects are her favorite way to foster these partnerships — digging deep into client business goals and essentially becoming an extension of their own team.

An active part of the Drupal community, she was a presenter at the DrupalCon Seattle in 2019 and was selected to present at DrupalCon Minneapolis/Global. She’s a co-organizer for Drupal Camp Asheville, co-lead for the Community Summit at DrupalCon 2020, and recently completed a Code of Conduct contact training in 2019.

When she’s not leading client projects, she’s gaming (video and board!), hiking, biking (sometimes with donuts; see Ohio "Tour de Donut"), dressing up and performing in or attending Renaissance faires, making bad jokes/puns/sarcastic comments, and speaking in gifs.
